Drishti school organised A Field visit for inclusive Wing

A field trip is a visit to a place outside the regular classroom which is designed to achieve certain objectives. It also increases the interest of students in learning and ignites the spark to learn. The students of Inclusive Wing of Drishti Dr. R. C. Jain Innovative Public School went on a field near the School Campus. The initiative is aimed at educating students about crops cultivated by several progressive farmers, besides giving them first-hand experience of taking up farming activities. The teachers taught their students that wheat is a highly nutritional and widely cultivated cereal grain. Students also learnt that wheat grows in a variety of climates and soils, but thrives best in temperate zones. It also helped students to understand agriculture and food security needs from young age as the majority of students hail from agriculture backgrounds. Moreover, students were also taught about the crops, method of cultivation, organic manures and weed control measures during such visits. The trip was a great success and a memorable experience for the little ones.
