Our Global Presence
We, at Drishti, believe that there is an urgent need to educate the young people around the globe to realize the advantage of celebrating cultural differences
The school is a member of WCCI (World Council of Curriculum and Instruction) and provides an international platform to its teachers and students to present their papers and interact with educators across the globe. The students explore and appreciate experiential learning while interacting with international educators, researchers, principals, UNO representatives and other officials. The WCCI is a transnational educational organization committed to advancing the achievement of a just and peaceful world community through collaborative curriculum and instruction projects: dialogues on educational and social issues of a global nature; the exchange of ideas, concerns and solutions to problems and person-to-person contacts and professional relationships. WCCI is a transnational non-governmental organization (NGO) in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations and UNESCO. Thus, the students build a sense of belonging to a common humanity and become responsible global learners.
TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Being the Host Consultant of Indiana University, Drishti encourages and facilitates international experiences of an educational and cultural nature by inviting teachers from different countries to teach in the school .
Teachers from the United States of America visit the school for a student teacher training program under the aegis of Indiana University (School of Education) Global Gateway Teacher’s Program, USA. This program provides students and teachers invaluable intercultural experience in addition to strengthening teaching learning experience. Our students get an exclusive chance to connect globally and develop cultural sensibilities. We, thus, bring international perspectives to the classroom while giving exposure to different educational systems.
