Drishti School organised a workshop on mental well being of teachers

“Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you are going.”

Drishti Dr. R. C. Jain Innovative Public School organised a workshop on mental well being of teachers. The main objective of this session was to highlight the need to address the underlying causes of chronic stress and cultivating environments that promote teacher’s wellness. The resource person, Dr. Pallavi Abhilasha, MD Psychiatry, CMC, explained how neglecting one’s own health can have detrimental effect not only on ownself but also on students. She further emphasised on the importance of maintaining a healthy work life balance, arranging workshops on stress management techniques and offering training in self-care practices. Such sessions can equip teachers with the tools and knowledge they need to manage their well – being effectively. The principal, Dr. Manisha Gangwar, thanked the resource person and urged the teachers to pursue some  activities that give pleasure to them beyond school hours.
